Malinska is situated in a wooded bay on the western side of the island of Krk. The island itself is the second biggest island in the Adriatic sea. Malinska and the surrounding coastal towns were once little fishing settlements but now this area is a vibrant tourist destination, offering its guests a multitude of cultural sites and social events.
